13th – New Moon

13th – Total Solar Eclipse visible from Northern Australia and Pacific Ocean.  Partial Solar Eclipse visible from Eastern Australia and New Zealand

17th, 18th – Leonids Meteor Shower. One of the better meteor showers to watch as it produces up to 40 meteors per hour during its peak. Best viewed after midnight looking at the constellation Leo

27th – Conjunction of Saturn and Venus.  These two planets will be visible within 1 degree of each other.  Best viewed at sunrise to the East.

28th – Full Moon

29th – Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. The Moon will pass behind the Earth causing the Earth’s shadow to fall on the Moon’s surface. Visible from Europe, Eastern Africa, Asia, Australia, Pacific Ocean and North America
