The Chinese New Year of the Dragon: Chinese Zodiac Personality

The Dragon Personality

In Chinese astrology the dragon is seen as a powerful ruler because it is made up of different parts of animals such as a snake, a fish, an eagle and a tiger and therefore superior.  A dragon child is the most desired of all the Chinese signs because of this.  Dragons are confident and in control of their life.  Unfortunately there are some dragons that are so sure of themselves that they  don’t realise they are being a tad arrogant or hurtful to those around them.  Their wagging tongue gets them into trouble, but it is also the very reason they can seem incredibly successful or lucky in life.  They are experts at making friends and building strong relationships with people from all walks of life.

The dragon’s are easy to pick in a crowd.  They are the ones who will either announce themselves loudly at a party or will crack a joke within the first 30 seconds of their arrival.  Their high energy makes it seem like they are almost vibrating the air around them and they never sit still for long.  This is probably due to their high intellect as it needs constant stimulation, or else they’ll get bored and want to leave.

Dragons are fantastic leaders and will inspire confidence in others wherever they go.  They can sometimes be a little intimidating because they think so quickly that it’s hard for the rest of us to keep up.  Secretly, Dragons are impressed by wealth and status and will do anything to  learn the secrets of success stories.

In love, dragons are incredibly warm hearted and charming and will sweep their chosen partner off their feet with 100% gusto.  Dragon’s learn pretty quickly how to tickle your funny-bone and will tease it relentlessly until you are in stitches from laughing so hard.
